How was the Copywriter Code created?

The Copywriter Code was created in stages. Draft versions were shared publicly, and then revised based on feedback. A committee was formed to review later drafts and fine-tune the language.

The current Code is a working document, intended to be revised and updated in response to feedback and changing needs.

Anyone can submit feedback on the Copywriter Code, and anyone can apply to join the Copywriter Code Committee, which makes decisions on changes to the Code.
